All Yakuza Games In Order

Whether you are a newbie or an experienced Yakuza gamer, you can play All Yakuza Games In Order to experience the entire series. However, if you are like many gamers, you might have difficulties getting through the entire series without a proper strategy. That’s where this guide comes in handy!

Yakuza 0

Yakuza 0 has received a lot of positive reviews and is now available on PlayStation 4. It debuted at number one on the Japanese software chart in its first week of release and is already the fastest selling game in the series. The PlayStation 3 version has already sold over 146,000 units, while the PlayStation 4 version has sold about 90,000. The game is the culmination of more than ten years of development and is a worthy addition to the Yakuza series.

The story of Yakuza 0 takes place in 1988 Japan, seventeen years before the first game. The game reveals the backstory of the characters and gives players a better understanding of the conflict that rages throughout the Empty Lot. The game’s storyline has multiple characters, including the main protagonist Kazuma Kiryu, series staple Kazuma Kiryu, and recurring characters Goro Majima and Hideki Kurosawa.

While the Yakuza series has been popular in Japan for years, it has only recently made its way to Western audiences. Originally, this Japanese action-adventure series was an exclusive for PlayStation. However, the game’s success has led to it being released on other platforms, including PC and Xbox.

Yakuza 2

Yakuza Games In Order

It is not necessary to play the first two games in Yakuza 2 in order. While the third game is the weakest in the series, it is worth mentioning as it is the remastered trilogy. Although it is not a must-have, it does contain helpful recaps of the previous games.

The series has evolved quite a bit since the first game came out, so if you’re just starting the series, this may be a good way to get a feel for what to expect. The games focus on the fighter Kiryu and how he develops his skills and techniques. There are eight main Yakuza games, plus two spin-offs and re-releases. Some are available on current-gen hardware, while others are exclusive to older consoles. This guide will provide you with an overview of the different games and their chronological order.

After the first game, Kazuma Kiryu moves from Tokyo to Okinawa, a southern island chain. He takes on many new responsibilities, from chopping onions for dinner to resolving playground disputes to negotiating with gangsters. After leaving the yakuza, Kiryu is asked by his ex-clan to help prevent war with the Omi Alliance. While investigating the conflict, he also encounters Ryuji Goda, aka The Dragon of Kansai.

Yakuza 5

If you want to get the most out of Yakuza 5, it may be best to play the games in order. The series is divided into five parts, which each start with a flashback event. The first game in the series is Yakuza 4, followed by Yakuza 5 and Yakuza 6. While they follow the same general plotline, they’re different in many ways. You can’t simply jump from Yakuza 4 to 5, as the characters are all quite different.

For those unfamiliar with the series, the first game in the series introduces Kazuma Kiryu, the protagonist of the series. He is a former yakuza, but now works as an orphanage caretaker. His adventures lead him from Tokyo to Kamurocho and Okinawa. The plot of the series expands to involve multiple protagonists. While Kazuma Kiryu is the central character, he is accompanied by two other protagonists – Goro Majima and Haruka Sawamura. The four protagonists must work together to solve a murder, unravel a money struggle, and solve a mystery involving honor.

Those who want to play Yakuza 5 in order should not skip Yakuza 4 or Judgment. The main story is the same, but Judgment takes it a step further, introducing new mechanics and locations. The gameplay is more intense, and the new game mechanics are more advanced than the previous games.
